"Wounds can be stitched the best when they are fresh"... Such words of wisdom seldom come out of my brain... but even i can certainly use these to make my life much better than the way it is now.

We try to run away from our past. We try to ignore talking about the subject, try to ignore seeing those places which, according to us, "haunt" us...But actually speaking.. those haunting thoughts are not related to the place nor to the so called "talks".. those thoughts are in our minds.. and the best way to kill those is to KILL those!. We should rather face them rather than hiding from them... Some people have been actually doing this since seven years :) but haven't succeeded yet. So.. learn from others' experience and face the reality....

If you hold the sand too tight in your palms... it would all slip away... Let it have its own space.. it would remain there.. if it has to... Ahoy! Another sentence of wisdom...

How long to "Hold your horses"

Sometimes... We Wait !

We wait for "the right time" that would bring a difference to our lives. We wait for the "right person" who would appear from nowhere to change our lives for ever. We wait for a comet to hit us!

Let us not "assume" this time and instead "believe" that... "there would be no right time ahead", "there would be no right person coming our way" and there would be no comet that would hit us. How do we feel? A little discouraged ? A little belittled ? If we are ... then we already were discouraged... depressed... belittled... We dont need to think anything to be one of these above nouns!

The title of the blog goes as 'How long do we hold our horses'... if anyone of us can identify with this story.. any one of us are waiting for that 'one special moment' or that 'one special someone', then i would recommend them to please recheck if they still have their horses to hold!

From now on, lets convert this assumtion to belief and start looking at life from a different perspective. Lets start believing that "NOW is the right time" instead of waiting for the right time.Lets treat every person that we come across as special and let him/her not effect our life. Let us have the control of our lives 'for a change'. Let us become the Comet ourselves!
